About the event
Movement is for everyone at our Friday Chair-Based Exercise sessions! This accessible program proves that effective, enjoyable exercise doesn't require standing or complicated movements. Perfect for older adults with mobility challenges, balance concerns, or those who simply prefer seated exercise, these sessions focus on maintaining independence and improving daily functioning.
Each class incorporates gentle stretching, strength-building movements, coordination exercises, and relaxation techniques—all performed while seated or using a chair for support. The friendly, encouraging atmosphere creates a space where everyone can succeed and progress at their own pace. You'll be surprised how much you can move while seated!
This free program runs every Friday from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM.
To create a supportive community atmosphere and ensure personalized guidance, we require a minimum of 12 registered participants.
