About the event
Step into better health with our Thursday Social Walking Groups! These gentle, guided walks combine the physical benefits of regular movement with the mental and emotional boost of social connection. Perfect for older adults of all fitness levels, our routes are carefully chosen to be accessible while still providing a refreshing change of scenery.
Each week features different paths, interesting local landmarks, and plenty of rest stops for conversation and refreshments. Our trained walk leaders ensure no one gets left behind, and walks are paced to allow everyone to chat comfortably while moving. It's the perfect way to build fitness gradually while forming meaningful friendships.
This free walking group meets every Thursday from 2:00-3:30 PM.
To ensure safety and create a vibrant social atmosphere, we need a minimum of 12 registered participants.
